Returns & Exchanges Policy

At WA Collection, we’re proud to be wāhine-led and community-driven. We genuinely want you to love what you ordered — and if something isn’t quite right, we’ll always do our best to help.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Unworn and unused
  • In original, resellable condition
  • With all tags attached
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

As a small business, all change-of-mind returns must be sent back at the customer’s expense.

Items returned worn, washed, damaged, or not in resellable condition may be declined and sent back to the customer.

To start a return, please email us at wacollectionnz@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll guide you through the next steps.

Please note: Items sent back without contacting us first will not be accepted.

Exchanges

If you need a different size or style, we’re happy to help with an exchange

Contact us to request the exchange.

Send your original item back (return shipping at your cost).

Once the item is received and approved, we’ll send out your new piece.

If there is a price difference, we will arrange payment or refund of the difference accordingly.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

If the fault is ours:

We will cover the return shipping cost.

We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund in line with your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

We stand by our products and will always make things right where we’re responsible.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on Sale items.

If you’re unsure about sizing or product details before purchasing, please reach out — we’re always happy to help you choose the right piece.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.
